Shared Reports

Shared reports are a status board that enables you to add, edit, and view reports. Because these reports can be shared with other emergency operations centers, agencies, and facilities, this is a communication medium that can be used during emergencies or exercise drills to keep users informed about situations and events that are occurring.

Shared reports users

  • can see a summary list of all the shared reports generated for a specific hazard
  • can see all of the entries made to a shared report at a glance
  • can add information by editing the existing shared report
  • can add new shared reports as needed to share pertinent information.

Each emergency operations center, agency or facility can have their own shared report and log in entries. As log entries are made and revised, users are notified of a change when the New Data button is displayed. If a specific shared report has been set up to record entries, then pertinent information from an this specific shared report can be copied and pasted into another shared report, which can be shared with users that need the information.
